Located in the courtyard adjacent to the hospital’s main lobby, the Tranquility Garden opened January 23, 2009 thanks to a generous gift by Clark and Alice Alger. It provides a quiet and serene place for UF Health Flagler Hospital patients, families, visitors and employees to reflect, meditate and relax throughout the year. The garden is a place where a patient can sit for a while and relax outside of the four walls of a patient room while recovering from an illness; a family can sit and wait for a loved one to come out of surgery; and a hospital team member can find a restful retreat while on a break from work. The Tranquility Garden offers shade, along with beautiful colors and fragrances.
The Florence Nightingale Garden at UF Health Flagler Hospital was dedicated in October 2014 in honor of the fine art of nursing. It is located on the hospital's east side, adjacent to the main conference rooms
